Walk in at MRPL on Feb 19 to register for technical courses under Kaushal Vikas Kendra
Mangaluru: For the career advancement and better employment prospects of the youths in Dakshina Kannada, MRPL’s Kaushal Vikas Kendra along with NetturTechnical Training Foundation (NTTF) is conducting a registration, mobilisation drive for SSLC pass, and PUC failed candidates who are interested in enrolling for in the CNC Operator-Turning and Industrial Electrician courses which are scheduled to begin shortly.
For the convenience of the youth, all youngsters who are eligible for these courses and/or those who are interested in future courses may walk in to a registration drive in the MRPL Employees Club from 10:00 AM to 17:30 PM on February 19, 2017 (Sunday). Interested candidates are requested to carry with them their educational certificates; age proof and adhaar card (if readily available).
The first batch of 60 youth will be trained in two trades: Industrial Electrician and CNC Operator-Turning. In this batch youth within the age group of 18yrs to 25 years with eligibility of PUC/ITI will be trained in Industrial Electrician and those with SSLC Pass/ PUC pass/fail, will be trained in CNC Operator-Turning. All expenses including food, lodging, tutorial expenses, clothing in the form of uniform, will be borne by MRPL Kaushal Vikas Kendra. On successful completion, certification at level 3, under Capital Goods Sector Skill Council, will be issued and candidates with no mobility constraint will be placed by NTTF.
Besides the above registration drive on Sunday, MRPL KVK team along with NTTF in partnership with the panchayat heads will be mobilising youth in the surrounding villages like Permude, Soorinje, Cheliaru, Bala, Jokatte and others from February 20 onwards for a week.
