Eid, Inauguration of Cabinet & Clubs, Health Awareness Programmes at St. Lawrence Indian School CBSE, Kinnigoli



Bharath Matha Educational & Charitable Trust celebrated Eid, Inauguration of Cabinet & Clubs, Health Awareness Programmes at St. Lawrence Indian School CBSE, Kinnigoli on 28/06/2017.


The Programme was inaugurated by Mrs. Florence Mendes, Correspondent of St. Lawrence Indian School CBSE, Kinnigoli. Speaking on the occasion she told that Eid al-Fitr means "festival of breaking the fast" and marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan. It is celebrate for three days, and on the morning of the first day, Muslims gather for prayer. 





Sr. Nethra of Primary Health Care Centre, Kateel was present for the function. Speaking on the occasion she told that our health is affected by a wide variety of factors, from the genes that we inherit from our parents to the climate we live in and the work we do. But there is a growing body of scientific evidence that shows our lifestyles play a huge part in how healthy we are. From what we eat and drink, to how much exercise we take, and whether we smoke or take drugs, all will affect our health, not only in terms of life expectancy, but how long we can expect to live without experiencing chronic disease.



Jyothi Pias, Vice President of PTA, Shaila, Member of PTA, Jayasudha, Principal of St. Lawrence Indian School CBSE, Kinnigoli were also present on the occasion.





The Eid celebration included Daff, Khawali and various other dances. During the Club inauguration each club that is Eco club, Language club, Science Club, Sports club, Music Club gave their performances.
