City returns to normalcy, curfew extended in parts of Bengaluru, some schools reopen
Bengaluru: After two days of violence and arson in the IT hub after protests broke out in Karnataka over the Cauvery river water dispute with Tamil Nadu the city has been slowly returning to normalcy.
However, curfew was extended in the western and south-eastern parts of the city till further orders.
Some schools and colleges in the city re-opened today after being shut for two days.
