Forensic evidence makes case solid, says top cop
He was speaking after inaugurating ’Forensicon-2016’, the 13th annual conference of South India Medico Legal Association (SIMLA) and pre-conference workshop on ’Forensic Ballistics and Firearm Demonstration’ at K S Hegde Medical Academy, Nitte University here.

"Policing and forensic science are interconnected. Mangaluru has always been lucky to have a best forensic team that helped in solving many cases," he added.Bhushan G Bhorase, superintendent of police, said like foreign countries, India also should have separate teams for forensic investigation.
Babu Shetty, head constable for the past 30 years in Mangaluru, Abdul Jaleel and Gangadar from Belthangady and Mangaluru respectively were felicitated on the occasion.
