Work on phase two of Parallel Taxi Track to begin at Mangaluru Airport
Mangaluru: Mangaluru International Airport is all set for the construction of the phase two of the Link Parallel Taxi Track and grading of basic strip on the southern side of the Airport at an estimated cost of Rs 111.14 crore.
Sources say that the work would be completed in two years.
It is said that construction and development of the parallel taxi track along with the basic strip would reduce the runway occupancy time by the aircrafts, thus flights would not be delayed. The land for the purpose was already available with the Airports Authority of India.
